Dasara still leads on India net. HIT 3 edges it worldwide. Together they set the bar at about ₹119 Cr. The Paradise now has to clear that line.

Nani’s last few big films have stacked up in a tight band. Four titles now sit in the conversation whenever a new one of his arrives: Hi Nanna, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, Dasara and HIT: The Third Case. The ranking is not as neat as it looks at first glance.

Most people still treat Dasara as the career peak. On India net it is. HIT: The Third Case finished a shade lower at home, then overtook Dasara on worldwide gross because overseas paid a little more. The number that now sits at the top of the pile is about ₹119 crore worldwide. That is the line The Paradise will be measured against.

Nani’s four biggest recent films — lifetime

Hi Nanna (2023)

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram (2024)

Dasara (2023)

HIT: The Third Case (2025)

₹80.97 Cr

₹119.48 Cr

Dasara still owns the domestic story. Best India net. Best opening-day reputation. HIT 3 wins the global total by less than a crore, mostly on the overseas column.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram sits in the middle of the pack: clearly bigger than Hi Nanna, clearly short of the two 118–119 crore films. Hi Nanna remains the family-drama floor of this group.

None of these four is a blowout in the 150-crore-plus zone. The cluster is tight. That is why a new Nani film with this kind of advance heat gets talked about as a possible new high rather than just “another decent opener.”

What this means going into The Paradise:

If the film only matches Dasara at home, it will already be in career-best territory on India net. To take the worldwide crown it has to do what HIT 3 did: hold the Telugu belt and add a little extra from dubbed markets and overseas.
